Tends equipment that strips paint from steel durms preparatory
to repainting: Turns valves to start flow of paint-removing
solvent and steam to outlets in respective sections of cleaning
equipment. Starts pump that re-circulates solvent, and conveyor
that carries drums through piant stripping process. Observes
drums passing through paint stripping section, and adjusts speed
of convyeor to obtain maximum efficiency during stripping
process. Inspects drums to determine whether additional
stripping is required, and recycles drums needing more
stripping.
